Carvery Sunday Lunches
Sunday 8th August, 5th September, 19th September, 10th October, 31st October, 14th November, 28th November, 12noon - 2pm Served in our Banqueting and Blue Rooms overlooking the Italianate patio from 12pm till 2pm. Kirkley Hall lunches include a three course carvery, coffee and mints for £14.95 per person. Children’s portions are also available. Booking is required.

Afternoon Tea on the Terrace
Sunday 22nd August, 2pm – 5pm Enjoy traditional English afternoon tea on the terrace* whilst listening to the delightful music by a live pianist. £8.50pp booking required. Champagne can be served at your table for an additional cost.

Tai Chi at the Hall
Six week course commencing Wednesday 15th September, 4pm – 5pm or 7pm – 8pm Tai Chi is a Martial Art with proven health benefits; the course will cover some basic moves with breathing and also the first part of a Yang Style Long Form. A great remedy for the stresses and strains of everyday life. Classes will take place on the lawn, weather permitting. £35pp
Auto Jumble
Sunday 19th September A motor themed jumble sale, selling car, 4x4 and motorbike parts, as well as tools, accessories and literature. All sellers welcome!
Hot and cold food and refreshments will be available in the cafe. For more details please ring 0191 2708298.

Dressmaking Course
Tuesday 21st or Wednesday 22nd September, 10am – 3pm Dorothy Dale’s classes are for beginners as well as expert dressmakers. Dorothy will cover all fashion aspects including specialist sewing techniques, fitting garments, choice of fabrics and colour co-ordination. £140pp
Upholstery Course
10 week course starting Wednesday 22nd September, 10am - 3pm David Taylor of Taylor Rowe will teach you all there is to know about upholstering at home. You’ll learn lots of trade secrets under David's excellent tuition. All abilities welcome! £140pp
Wedding Fair
Sunday 26th September, 12noon – 4pm Come along and meet a wide range of established wedding service providers and explore our rooms dressed for the big day. Our wedding coordinators will available to answer any questions you may have and check availability of the hall. FREE Admission
Watson's Indoor Car Boot Sales
Every Sunday from 3rd October, 11am - 2.30pm
Kirkley Hall plays host to Watson's Indoor Car Boot Sales. Sellers are admitted from 10am for £10 and the buying public can enter from 11am for 50p per person. For more information call 0191 2708298.

Sue Sweeney Comedy Night
Saturday 30th October, 7pm for 7.30pm Join comedienne Sue Sweeney for a night of laughter at our comedy dinner dance. If, as is often claimed, 'laughter is the cure for most ills', then Sue can claim to be the North East's own Comedy Doctor, dispensing goodwill and hilarity to her growing band of willing patients. £25pp including four course meal.
Italian Dinner Dance with Alexander Lomas
Saturday 6th November, 7pm for 7.30pm Enjoy a romantic evening at Kirkley Hall with a three course Italian meal and a bottle of house wine to share while listening to the ‘Swing Singer’ Alexander Lomas. £25.95pp

Ghost Walking and Medium Night
Friday 12th November, 6.30pm - late Meet the mediums Ralph Keeton as seen in Sony Films ‘Monster House’ and Kirkley Hall regular Sean Roper for an evening of mediumship and private readings, 6.30pm – 10pm, £10pp.
Then dare yourself to take part in a ghost walk, 10pm until late. By the end of the night you’ll have lots of answers and an insight on working with ghosts. Be guided and investigate your own abilities as you meet ghosts head on... £7.50pp
NSPCC Christmas Fair
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November, 10am - 4pm Come Christmas shopping for the whole family and have a great day out whilst raising money for the NSPCC. There’ll be craft and food stalls selling a range of exclusive gifts and stocking fillers, plus fun activities for children including Father Christmas in his grotto!
Mulled wine, mince pies, light lunches and afternoon teas will be available to purchase whilst you ‘mull’ over what gifts to buy! Entrance only £5 per car
